MURREE: The PML-N workers on Friday showered praise on their jailed leader Nawaz Sharif at a convention held in Ghora Gali at the residence of Raja Ishfaq Sarwar.

While addressing the convention, the PML-N leaders said that Nawaz Sharif solved power load-shedding, built motorways and Orange Train.

They said the PTI government had failed to fulfill a single promise it made to the people during electioneering. Central leaders of PML-N including former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, former deputy speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Malik Ibrar, Raja Haneef and others addressed the convention.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that adding 11,000 megawatt of electricity to national grid was the crime of Nawaz Sharif. After coming to power, the PML-N will add 20,000 megawatt of electricity to the grid.

She appreciated the way Shahid Khaqan Abbasi faced the case and emerged as a respected leader.

She said that election of 2018 were massively rigged to keep the genuine leadership of Pakistan out of Parliament.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had practiced politics of integrity and emerged as a clean leader at the national level.

He criticised the present government and called it a product of rigging.
