QUETTA, Aug 4: A division bench of Balochistan High Court has on Wednesday directed the standing counsel to get a report from the quarters concerned on an application submitted by a woman, Noor Bibi, for recovery of her husband Ali Asghar Bungulzai, arrested by an intelligence agency.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani ordered that the copy of the application should be given to the standing counsel, who should get a reply from the agency concerned and submit it in the next hearing.

The chief justice had taken suo motu notice of a statement made by the woman at a press conference alleging that her husband had not been released or presented in a court since his arrest four years ago by a federal intelligence agency.
