QUETTA: Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail has asked the judges of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) to dispose of the pending cases at the earliest.
Presiding over a meeting of the BHC judges here on Tuesday, he said there should be no unnecessary delay in the disposal of cases.
“All pending cases should be disposed of as soon as possible,” the chief justice said.
According to a statement issued by the BHC after the meeting, a special bench comprising Justices Kamran Khan Mullahkhail and Nazeer Ahmed Langove was also set up.
“The cases of money laundering and foreign exchange regulations will be heard by the special bench,” the statement said.
The meeting also discussed matters related to the rules and regulations of the BHC and staff of the judiciary. A special committee was constituted in this regard.
The BHC registrar was instructed to take initiatives to trigger up inactive tribunals and fill the unoccupied vacancies.
