Rainstorm hits Swabi

SWABI, Aug 6: Torrential rains paralyzed life across the district on Saturday. Traffic on some roads remained suspended for hours due to felling of trees in the storm. The rainstorm, which started in the night and continued for hours, disrupted power supply especially in the remote areas. In many areas, drains remained choked with filth and garbage, and rainwater entered houses.

The people of Yar Hussian, Tordher, Tehsil Chota Lahor, Salim Khan, Shewa, Tarraki, Kernel Sher Kili, Marghuz and all other areas said that power remained suspended for hours.
