KARACHI: The victorious City School DK Campus team is seen with chief guest Ali Bahawni and PSOA officials after winning the general trophy at the 3rd Student Games.

KARACHI: The City School DK Campus won the General Trophy by securing 1150 points at the 3rd Students Olympic Games 2019 here on Sunday.Pakistan Students Olympic Association organised the Games from Oct 4-19 at the Hampton School Clifton.Sports events contested include included basketball, throwball, futsal, table tennis, cricket, rope-skipping, dodgeball, yoga and gymnastics.

Ali Bahawni, Vice Principal Hampton School was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed the prizes, trophies, medals and certificates among the winners, runners-up, third position holders as well as other participating teams.

President PSOA Maqbool Arain, Secretary PSOA Ivan Fedrick Rittman, Shahnawaz Alam, Nadeem Aslam secretary Karachi Student Olympic Association, coordinator sports City School DK campus Shakeel Ahmed were also present on the occasion.

Maqbool Arain announced that the Pakistan’s team comprising students will be participating in the 6th Students Olympic International Games 2019 which will be held at Johor Baru University in Malaysia from Dec 26-30.

General Trophy: 1st Position: The City School DK Campus (1150 Points); 2nd Position: Shahwaylat Public School (1000 Points); 3rd Position K-7 Gymnastics School (1000 Points); 4th Position: Head Start School System (850 Points). Gymnastics: 1st Position: K-7 Gymnastics School; 2nd Position: LG Gymnastics School; 3rd Position: FF Gymnastics School
