LAHORE: Punjab PPP president Qamar Zaman Kaira has demanded complete treatment for PML-N leader and former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, saying he is seriously ill.

He was talking to the media after visiting Mr Sharif at the Services Hospital on Friday. He also presented a bouquet to the ex-premier on behalf of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Mr Kaira said his party believed that both Nawaz and his daughter Maryam should be immediately bailed in all cases.

He said former president Asif Ali Zardari was also serving jail term without conviction in any case.

He said the party would also enthusiastically participate in the Azadi March being led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

The PPP leader said the whole country was sick of incompetence and ineptness of the government; therefore, it could be tolerated no more.

He added that his party chairman had already launched a series of public meetings to mobilise the people for ousting the government.
