Rash driving

Published October 28, 2019

A LARGE number of accidents take place on our roads because our people don’t care about their own lives or those of others.

According to Road Accident Statistics in India, around 1,214 road accidents take place in India every day. Out of this 20 children between the ages of three and lose their lives every day because of these accidents.

In Pakistan, the number of cars and other vehicles has been constantly on the rise. The worst part is parents allowing their minor children to drive high-end vehicles on roads. Apart from this, the traffic police appear to be lazy and indifferent to the problems of road rage. Often, jumping the red light is condoned. Even after being caught red-handed the culprits are not punished because of their influence.

If immediate counter measures are not taken, the city’s roads will become killer roads.
