KARACHI: Pakistan Olympics Association (POA) General Council has named management committee for judo events to be held during 33rd National Games, which will be held in Peshawar from Nov 10-16.

The committee has been formed to supervise all of the affairs related to judo during the National Games including decision of the venue, appointment of technical officials – judges, referees, umpires and supervisors.

Syed Wasimuddin Hashmi has been appointed as the management committee’s chairman. Zulfiqar Ali Butt, Ehtishamul Haq, Maqsood Ahmed, Basheer Ahmed Babai and Naeem Jan are members of the committee. Masood Ahmed has been named as the organizing secretary.

Chairman will have the powers to take decisions in accordance with judo rules and regulations with an aim to hold the events in a befitting manner.
