LAKKI MARWAT: The police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a man for assaulting a fifth grader in Wanda Shahabkhel locality of Kurrum Par area.

The victim aged 11 told police that a tailor named Fidaullah called him to his shop when he was on way home during recess in the school. “As I entered the shop he shut the door and caught hold of me,” he maintained and said the man then assaulted him.

Police said they had arrested the assaulter after registration of case against him under section 377 (unnatural offence) in Dadiwala police station.

Also, police arrested a proclaimed offender, Mohammad Shoaib, during a raid in Aezerkhel village of Darra Pezu town. The PO was wanted to police in a murder case. An assault rifle, a hand grenade and bullets were also seized from him.
