Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri expresses utter disappointment in JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for having declared himself "a caretaker of Khatm-i-Nabuwwat and Namoos-i-Risalat".

"Maulana sahib for you to declare one side a traitor to Khatm-i-Nabuwwat and opposed to Namoos-i-Risalat and to pronounce yourself as the caretaker of these is unwarranted."

The religious affairs minister requested the JUI-F chief to be more rational in his thinking. "I, too, have acquired religious knowledge like yourself. How can you say that your faith and religion is firmer and more powerful than mine?"
