KARACHI: Thursday was the seventh day of the Dawn Spelling Bee quarterfinal and schools from Quetta and Ormara took part in the 12-14 and 15-17 age group.

In the age group 12-14, Leader’s Odyssey School & Cadet College, Ormara, went to the elimination by securing 30 points. Leader’s Odyssey went till the end and lost in the last round of elimination.

In the 15-17 age group, St Patrick’s Girls High School clean swept the competition and went into the regionals by directly securing 30 points.

Elimination was also very tough, but the Cadet College, Ormara, made it into the regionals by beating top-notch schools of Karachi.
