The police quoted witnesses as saying that Asad Pervez of the Model City Mohallah Khoo suffered critical injuries after a recklessly-driven rickshaw ran into his motorcycle.

He was shifted to the Haripur Trauma Centre but succumbed to head injuries.

The police said rickshaw driver Naveed also suffered minor injuries.

Also, a family was looted in Mohallah Awaisia Pandak here.

The police began investigation after securing recordings of security cameras installed in the house.

Meanwhile, the residents complained about poor repairs to the Railway Road here.

Ahmad Din of Mohallah Eidgah said the NHA had begun the repair of Railway Road from Chowk Panian to Central Jail Chowk two weeks ago but left it incomplete.
