LAHORE: Twenty teams are participating in the National Junior Hockey Championship, which starts at the National Hockey Stadium here from Thursday.

The teams have been divided into four pools, with each pool carrying five teams apiece.

Pools:

‘A’: Sui Southern Gas Company, Pakistan Board, Punjab-A, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-B, Islamabad.

‘B’: Pakistan Army-A, Punjab-B, Port Qasim, Sindh-A, Balochistan.

‘C’: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-A, Pakistan Army-B, MPCL, Punjab-C, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

‘D’: Wapda, Punjab-D, Sindh-B, Pakistan Customs, Gilgit-Baltistan.

Today’s fixtures: Punjab-A v Islamabad; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-A v Pakistan Army-B; Sui Southern Gas Company v Pakistan Board; MPCL v Azad Jammu & Kashmir; Army-A vs Punjab-B; Wapda v Punjab-D; Port Qasim v Balochistan and Sindh-B vs Gilgit.
