LAHORE: The physical infrastructure of the Orange Line Metro Train project has been completed and the electrical trial run of the train on its entire route will be held on Dec 10.

This was stated at a meeting held under the chair of the chief minister at his office on Friday in which the transport secretary gave a briefing about the trial run. The chief minister directed early road repair beneath the train route.

SMOG ISSUE: Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gull called on the chief minister and discussed the strategy of dealing with smog issue and overcoming the environmental pollution.

Speaking on this occasion, the CM said urban forest stations would be set up at an area of 60,000 kanals in Lahore. He said the steel rolling industries and brick-kilns had been told to shift to zigzag technology to cut down on emissions.

Buzdar said 30 new air quality monitoring stations will be set up in Punjab.
