A positive personality

This is regarding the article “A positive personality” by Yasmin Elahi (YW, December 07). A positive personality can have a significant impact on our success and happiness in life.

Many of us aren’t born naturally optimistic. Such people don’t find it easy to stay positive about things, and hopeful and confident. We must train our brain to seek and adopt more positive personality traits. Inviting positivity into our lives means controlling our positive and negative thoughts.

People with positive personalities focus on the good in life, they acknowledge negativity, but also know that they know it is not a permanent state and can be overcomed.

It is seen that positive people have a high degree of self-confidence because they have worked on building themselves up.

Walk your own path. Don’t hesitate when you have to act. Good things don’t come easy, so the struggle is part of the process.

Never lose hope

This refers to the story “Never lose hope” (YW, 16 November 2019). I would like to thank the writer for making us aware that failure comes and goes but we should not lose hope or courage. After failure, there is bound to be success. Actually success is hidden, it only becomes visible when we fail in something and still keep up the hope for achieving it.

So we must keep our hopes alive and we must not quit after our failures, since life is all about second chances.
