ATTOCK: Multan beat Quetta by 52 runs, Sargodha defeated Attock by nine wickets, Faisalabad chalked up a similar win over Sheikhupura while Abbottabad thrashed Hyderabad by ten wickets on the second day of the NBP Blind Cricket trophy here on Thursday.

After being put into bat at the Attock Stadium, Multan made 256-3 in stipulated 20 overs with Mohammad Safdar scoring a brisk 179 runs off just 74 balls. Quetta were then restricted to 204-7. Abdul Rasheed made 41 runs not out while Qaisar made 34 runs. Ghulam Akbar took two wickets.

At the Comsats University Cricket Ground, Attock opted to bat but were restricted by Sargodha bowlers and could only muster 211-9 with Bilal Sarwar making 49. Abdullah was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. Sargodha in reply chased the target in the 17 overs, Gul Sheer was 100 not out while Zain scored 57.

Sheikhupura won the toss and decided to bat first to score 204-2; Abdul Sattar making 87 runs off 56 balls while veteran Ashraf Bhatti made 62 runs off 48 balls. Faisalabad chased the target in just 13.3 overs. Mohammad Ijaz made 75 off 42 balls and Bilal Ali made 71 off 27 balls.

Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first but were bowled out on 122 in 14.1 overs as Riasat Khan took three wickets for 10 runs and was supported by Naeemullah, who got two. Abbottabad chased the target in a mere 5.3 overs without any loss. Riasat Khan made 58 off just 15 balls while Naeemullah also scored 58 off 18 balls.
