HYDERABAD: Tree plantation campaign

HYDERABAD, Aug 15: DCO Mohammad Hussain Syed has called upon NGOs, CBOs and farmers to actively participate in tree plantation campaign to improve environment essential for healthy atmosphere.

Speaking at a ceremony of tree plantation campaign 2005 at the premises of Shahbaz Building on Saturday, he called upon officers of the forest department to provide technical assistance to all stakeholders and adopt innovative approach to achieve maximum participation of community in the tree plantation campaign.

The chief conservator of the Sindh forest department, Mr Mehboob Alam Ansari, said a target of four million saplings had been fixed by various circles and the forest department during the monsoon season.
