ATTOCK: Attock and Multan beat their respective rivals to reach the final of the NBP Blind Cricket Trophy here on Saturday.

The final will be played on Sunday at the Attock Cricket Stadium.

In the first semifinal, Attock won the toss and sent in Quetta who posted 183 for the loss of two wickets in stipulated 20 Overs. Naseebullah was their top scorer with unbeaten 80 runs. Nuaman Ali was the only bowler to claim a wicket.

Attock in reply chased the target in the 16th over for the loss of just one wicket. Ehtisham ul Haq was the star batsmen for Attock scoring an unbeaten 122. Shahid took the only wicket to fall.

In the second semifinal between Abbottabad and Multan played at the Attock Cricket Stadium, a close contst was seen and Multan won by just 17 runs.

Abbottabad won the toss and put Multan into bat first. Multan set a competitive target of 257 for 2 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Muhammad Safdar played a superb innings of unbeaten 167. Adeel fetched two wickets.

Abbottabad in reply made 240 for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 Overs.

Naeemullah remained top scorer with 132. Safdar, Ghulam Akbar and Ihsan claimed a wicket each.
