KOHAT: The Lachi police solved a blind murder case by arresting a woman along with an alleged paramour over the murder of her husband on Dec 7.

District police officer Mansoor Aman had tasked DSP Lachi Fazal e Wahid and SHO Fazal Awan with arresting the culprits.

The team investigated the case on modern lines by using mobile data record and took statements of the local people and the relatives of the deceased, Faheem Khan.

The police reached the main culprit, a resident of Teri Karak, who told the police that the wife of the deceased and he were in love and wanted to marry, but Faheem was a hurdle. So, he said the woman planned to eliminate him and asked him to kill her husband. “I killed Faheem when he was going to Peshawar to catch a flight for Dubai,” he told police.
