Mr Bokhari said thousands of people living in Boora, Jasian, Dhoke Tarbethi, Sanjwal, Bolianwal, Saqabad, Golra and Dhok Jogian villages would benefit from the new road.

He said the DHQ hospital Attock would be expanded to 580 beds and a trauma centre would be constructed on GT Road near Gondal to facilitate residents of Attock, Hazro, Hasanabdal and Khairabad. Besides, all basic health units in the district were being upgraded.

He said setting up of a mother and child healthcare hospital, nursing college and dualisation of Haji Shah Road had been approved and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar would soon inaugurate work on these projects.
