LAHORE: The Punjab government is holding its 23rd provincial cabinet meeting to discuss 19-point agenda on Tuesday (today).

The IG Police will brief the cabinet members on the prevailing law and order situation in Punjab.

The cabinet will discuss establishment of “Women Hostels Authority”.

The cabinet will discuss establishment of E-Rozgar Centres in 16 more colleges of higher education department besides centres already functioning in 20 colleges.

The cabinet is set to approve a tripartite agreement among PITB, youth affairs department and higher education department.

It will decide about the appointment of president of the Bank of Punjab and upgrade of different posts on the recommendations of committee headed by the additional chief secretary.

The cabinet will discuss a draft summary on establishment of Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Regulatory Authority (PPEPRA) and amendment to OGRA Ordinance 2002.

The cabinet will also discuss amendments to the Punjab Local Government Service (Appointment and Conditions Service) Rules, 2018.
