KARACHI: Brilliant Nauman Aftab was stretched to the limits by Hyderabad’s Nadir Bachani in the semifinal before the former won the three-set duel 7-6, 3-6, 10-8 which lasted two hours and fifteen minutes here at the Indus Pharma National Seniors & Juniors Tennis Championship 2020 being played at the Modern Club.

Promising Haider Ali Rizwan was too good for Zain Ehtisham and defeated him 4-0, 4-1 in the under-14 semifinal while Mahatir Mohammad overcame stiff challenge from Yahya in the under-16 semifinal after Yahya could not continue the match due to injury.

Meanwhile, in the girls under-18 semis, both Zahra Suleman of Lahore beat Zainab Ali 6-4 6-2 while Zoha Asim cruised past Varsha Das 6-0 6-0 to enter the final.
