Father of four commits suicide in Karachi due to ‘joblessness, poverty’

A middle-aged man committed suicide in Karachi on Wednesday evening, allegedly due to not being able to provide for his family due to financial constraints.
According to police, the deceased, whose age was believed to be around 40 years, was a resident of Ibrahim Hyderi and had four children.
Police officials said that he sprinkled kerosene oil over his body and set himself on fire. Soon after, he was rushed to the Burns Centre at Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, where he died during treatment on Thursday morning.
He had sustained 65 per cent burns.
Ibrahim Hyderi Station House Officer (SHO) Raza Solangi said that the deceased had recorded a statement before a police officer after he was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night. Police quoted him as saying that he had decided to end his life due to joblessness and poverty. The deceased worked as a junk dealer and ran a donkey cart.
Speaking to DawnNewsTV at the family home, the man's son said he had asked his father for warm clothes to wear to school a couple of days ago.
A letter was found from the deceased's pocket addressed to Prime Minister Imran Khan, in which he had said that he was very poor and should be given a job and a house.
According to the police officer, the deceased had also told his brothers about a ‘suicide note’ he had left at the mausoleum of a saint in the city and asked them to collect the same. However, SHO Raza said that the police have not been able to find any suicide note.

This story is so fabricated.... He is burnt and has a letter found in his pocket. Also, it is every parents responsibility to earn and live within their means. Increase income, reduce expenses. Requesting housing for family from the PM (i.e. other Pakistani's tax payers money)...
Also, a resident of Sindh should be asking the CM of Sindh who's constituency is Ibrahim hyderi. They go their for votes but not improving the lives of their voters.
What is Sindh government doing ?

Please don’t blame our leaders , they are the reflections of our own deeds. I think about myself and my family first. I don’t pay taxes, don’t pay sales tax. Bribe police and official to get things done illegally. Elect incompetent leaders with my own irrational loyalties. Blames others for my own mistakes and spread rumors to divert attention.
I sleep in air conditioned room and complaint about High electric bill. I eat with my eyes and get sick and Then complain about The Quality of medial treatment in Pakistan and go to a foreign country for better care.
Do I care about a poor person walking barefoot in extreme Weather working hard to earn meager money to barely feed his family.
I wish I could feel the pain of that poor person who ended his misery by self immolation. I wish I could feel the pang of hungers of his children.
I wish I could hear silent cries of wife in dark and damp corner of a windowless room. I wish I become a human again to feel pain of others .

Direct result of taking govt. loans for extravagant defense and luxury plus loss bearing projects, which results in austerity measures eventually bringing masses below the poverty line. I also read this government's ambitious plan for taking loans, the result is......, as earlier.

I work at a production facility at Ibrahim Hydri. We have been short on factory workers lately. I believe in this case the gap is between connecting these people with the opportunites available around them. We can reduce the gap with a service that help connects the domestic workers and labor with the opportunities.
