Photo frames never go out of fashion and are always enticing, whether you buy it from a shop or make one for yourself. They are a perfect addition and a gift to your loved ones.
Today’s craft is also a cute little photo frame made only with felt and cardboard pieces. You can create a bigger version of the same by following these instructions.
Things you need:
- Felt sheet (a colour of your choice to be used in frame)
- Felt pieces at least six colours to make balloons
- Hot glue (you can also use white glue).
- Scissors
- Cardboard pieces
- Six-inches of string yarn
Directions:
Cut square-shaped cardboard piece; five-inches long and five-inches wide. You can create any shape. Also cut four strips; five inches long but one inch wide, picture 2.
Cut felt according to all the cardboard pieces and cover them by using glue, pictures 3 and 4.
Place the now felt-covered strips on all four sides of square-shaped felt piece, and glue them carefully, picture 5.
You will notice a gap in two sides of strips, let’s say the top and the bottom of the frame. Cover only one side with felt leave the other (top) to insert the photo, pictures 6, 7 and 8.
Cut seven or eight different-coloured felt circles of one-inch approximately, picture 9.
Paste them together to create a bunch shape, picture 10.
Make a small loop from the yarn string and paste on top of the balloon bunch; paste the remaining string on the bottom of the balloon bunch and connect it by pasting behind the photo frame, pictures 11, and 12.
Wow! Your very own photo frame creation is ready! Just insert your picture and hang it anywhere you like.
