SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party senior leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah’s application for grant of bail that he had filed in Sindh High Court’s principal seat in Karachi has been transferred to SHC’s Sukkur bench.

Khursheed Shah, among others, is facing charges of making assets beyond means and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sukkur has filed a reference against him in Sukkur accountability court.

The SHC chief justice transferred the application to the SHC Sukkur bench which would, according to Shah’s counsel, hear it on Jan 14.

The NAB Sukkur had also challenged an earlier verdict of the accountability court in the Sukkur bench of the Sindh High Court granting bail to Shah against submission of a surety bond before the reference was filed. The bench would hear it on Jan 16.
