RAWALPINDI: Four people were injured when unidentified two motorcyclists opened fire on them on Adiala Road in the limits of Morgah police on Saturday evening.

Rescue 1122 shifted two of the injured to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) and another to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital where they were identified as Nauman Shaukat Ali, Yousuf and Ijaz Ahmed.

The police said the third injured, Asif Haider, was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) with a bullet injury to his head.

A heavy contingent of police, including SSP operations Tariq Walayat, SP Potohar Syed Ali and ASP Civil Line Circle

Beenish Fatima along with personnel of other law enforcement agencies, forensic experts and Dolphin Force reached the crime scene and collected evidence besides recording statements of the injured and eyewitnesses.

City Police Officer (CPO) Mohammad Ahsan later visited the BBH and DHQ hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured persons.

He also ordered police to trace the attackers and arrest them.

A CCTV footage was obtained by the police from a car showroom located near the crime scene.
