SAHIWAL: After some 13 years, the Government Postgraduate College will hold its 7th convocation at its hall on Wednesday.

A total 310 students, including 200 female students, of graduation and masters level will be awarded medals, certificates and degrees.

As per Principal Prof Dr Mumtaz Ahmad, higher education department Secretary Sajid Zafer Daal will be the guest of honour.

The principal said the last convocation was held in 2007 where former caretaker chief minister former Justice Ijaz Nisar was the chief guest.

Prof Jamil, who is convenor of convocation committee, said the students from four-year BS programme batches of 2010-14, 2011-15, 2012-16, besides Masters programme batches of 2005-07, 2006-08 and 2007-09 would be awarded degrees.
