QUETTA: The inspector general of Frontier Corps, (South) Balochistan, has said that peace has been restored in the province with efforts and sacrifices of security forces and people.

“There is no no-go area anywhere of the province,” Major General Saeed Ahmed Nagira said while speaking at the passing-out parade of 65th batch of Frontier Corps (South) in the Bela area of district Lasbela on Monday.

He paid rich tribute to the services of paramilitary forces for helping the people at any disaster, besides maintaining peace and protecting borders.

Maj Gen Nagira was accompanied by Commandant FC Awaran Col Murad Hussain and Sector Commander West Balochistan Brig Saqib Mirza.

Deputy Commissioner of Lasbela Dr Waqar Hassan Cheema, tribal elders, civil and military officers and a large number of local people attended the ceremony.

Maj Gen Nagira described the people of Balochistan as patriots and said their struggle for a peaceful and developed Pakistan could not go in vain. He said a few elements that were rejected by the self-respecting people of the province had been hatching conspiracies against the country.

He urged youths to counter the propaganda being spread through social media against Pakistan.
