KGS, Habib Girls, Elite School win netball titles

KARACHI: Karachi Grammar School won the PAFIAN Girls Netball Cup U-15 category title while Habib Girls School won the U-17 and Elite Netball Club clinched the U-19 category titles respectively.

The final matches of all categories were played here on Friday in the tournament which was organized by Pakistan Netball Federation.In the U-15 final City School Gulshan lost to Karachi Grammar School by 7-4 goals. The third-place match in the category was won by City School PAF who beat Habib Girls School by 9-1.In the U-17 category final, Habib Girls School defeated City School PAF by 7-4 goals to win the first position Third position went to Trinity Girls’ College.In the U-19 final, Elite Netball Club clinched the first position by beating City School PAF by 7-2 goals. The third position was taken by Habib Girls College.

The guest of honor in the finals was the Naila Durrani, Principal City School PAF Chapter, who distributed prizes to the players on the occasion. Also present were President PNF Mudassar Arain, Secretary PNF Syed Gohar Raza, and RSC City School southern region Syed Intizar Haider.
