TIMERGARA: Three children, including a minor girl, were injured when a toy bomb exploded at Khanabad village of Maidan here on Thursday.

Residents and police said that the children identified as Aimen, 8, Haseena, 10, and Ubaidullah found a toy when they were collecting fodder for cattle on the bank of Lal Qilla stream near their house.

The toy went off with a bang when the children began to play with it. As a result, all the three sustained injuries. They were brought to the district headquarters hospital, Timergara, where their condition is stated to be out of danger.
