LARKANA: Family members and relatives of a number of missing persons held a protest demonstration and observed a hunger strike outside the Larkana Press Club on Sunday and demanded immediate recovery of their loved ones.

Speaking to the local reporters, the protesters, including Abdul Latif Solangi, Aziz Lashari, Shahid Ali, Maria Kandhro and Aqsa Batool, claimed that their family members and close relatives had been whisked away presumably by personnel of different agencies over a long period and none of them had returned home so far.

They named some of them as Kashif Tagar, Babal Khoso, Insaaf Dayo, Shahid Junejo, Masood Shah, Hyder Khoso, Faqeer Aijaz Gaho, Murtaza Junejo, Ayoob Kandhro, Mohan Menghwar, Allah Wadhayo Mahar, Mehran Mirani, Prof Ghulam Shabbir Kalhoro, Suhail Raza Bhatti, DrFateh Mohammad Khoso, Gul Sher Tagar, Bilawal Chandio, Fatah Channa, Ghulam Murtaza Solangi, Niaz Lashari, Pathan Zuhrani and Rafique Umrani. They said they had received no information about their whereabouts so far although they approached police and various security agencies in this regard.

They appealed to the authorities concerned to help them recover their missing loved ones.
