LAHORE: Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested a suspect involved in selling drugs in educational institutions of the city.

A Liaquatabad police station team conducted a raid at a house and arrested a suspect identified as Azam. The team also recovered 1,500 gram hashish from his possession.

During investigation, the suspect revealed that he was getting online order from the students of educational institutions of the city and would drop their orders on their locations. The investigation also revealed that the suspect was a history-sheeter.

Meanwhile, police also arrested three suspects involved in mobile snatching incidents in the city.

The Shafiqabad police investigation team arrested Atif and his accomplice Ashraf for their involvement in theft and mobile snatching cases. The team also recovered phones and other ornaments.

The Yaki Gate police arrested a suspect, Mushtaq, involved in theft and snatching cases and recovered valuables worth millions.
