QUETTA: On special directives of the Inspector General of Frontier Corps (North) Major General Syed Fayyaz Hussain Shah, a one-day free medical camp was set up in Sanjavi tehsil of Balochistan’s Loralai district on Tuesday.
The camp was supervised by the commandant of Loralai Scouts.
Hundreds of poor and deserving patients, including women and children, not only received free treatment, but also medicines at the camp.
An official of FC said that free medical camps were being set up to facilitate poor people in hilly areas of the district.
“Free medical camp in an area that lacks basic facilities would not only ensure standard healthcare of its people, but would also overcome health issues and control several chronic and seasonal diseases,” he said.
A medical team of Loralai Scouts examined patients suffering from different diseases. It also carried out diagnostic tests. Children present at the camp were also administered anti-polio drops.
