Squash: Pre-qualifying round ends

ISLAMABAD, Aug 21: Farzan Rashid, Waseem Shad and two others advanced to the qualifying round of CAS International squash championship at Mushaf Squash Complex on Sunday.

The qualifying round of the US$25,000 event will be played on Monday and Tuesday, to be followed by main round from Aug 24 to 27.

Ong Beng Hee of Malaysia is now top seeded in the main round after Shahid Zaman pulled out on medical grounds.

The four will join 12 others who are directly placed in the main draw.—APP
