HARIPUR: A man was shot dead while his two brothers sustained bullet injuries when two groups clashed in urban limits of T&T Colony here the other day.

Incharge TIP checkpost ASI Tariq Saleem said that Jamshed, son of Sohail Khan, and Abu Bakar had an altercation a couple of days ago over some matter. On Friday night, both sides came across and scuffled after an exchange of harsh words over parking of a motorcycle.

According to police, Abu Bakar, Zakri Zaman and Liaquat, sons of Ashraf, opened fire which left Jamshed and his brothers Amir and Bilal injured. Area people shifted the injured to trauma centre where Jamshed succumbed to his wounds while his brothers were admitted for treatment.
