LAHORE: Faizan Fayyaz defeated Bilal Asim in the boys U-18 singles final of the SICAS Punjab Junior Tennis Championship here at the Bagh-i-Jinnah ground on Saturday.

Looking in impressive form, Faizan comfortably overpowered Bilal 6-4, 6-2 in the decider lasting only 25 minutes.

In the boys’ doubles final, however, Faizan partnering Bilal won the title as they defeated the duo of Zain-ul-Abideen and Ifham Rana 4-2, 4-2.

Zahra Suleman seized the girls’ U-16 title crushing Labika Durab 6-1, 6-1 in the final.

Boys U-14: Bilal Asim bt Asad Zaman 6-2, 6-3

Girls U-16: Zahra Suleman bt Labika Durab 6-1, 6-1

Boys U-18 doubles: Faizan Fayyaz/Bilal Asim bt Zain-ul-Abideen/Ifham Rana 4-2, 4-2
