OKARA: Six people, including four minors, were kidnapped in five incidents across the district on Sunday.

In the first incident, three unidentified armed suspects kidnapped 11-year-old Salma from Chak /2-L.

In the second incident, over some family dispute six suspects, including Saqlain Shah, Zamir Shah, Atta Muhammad, Saeed, Azhar Shah, took away minors Ali Musa, 5, and Ali Haidar, 3, over a family dispute from Thatta Syedan near Saddar Gogera.

In the third incident, a schoolchild, Subhan Waheed, was snatched at gunpoint allegedly was kidnapped by12 accomplices from his father Abdul Waheed Rai.

In the fourth incident, Kalsoom, a mother of five, wife of Muhammad Nadeem, was abducted at gunpoint by one Azad along his two unidentified accomplices at Azam Town of Renala Khurd.

In the fifth incident, 19-year-old Maryam was allegedly abducted away by three unidentified suspects from Farooqabad.

Separate cases were registered with the police stations concerned.

In the two robbery incidents, one Habib Khan, a brick kiln owner, was intercepted by two unidentified armed robbers at the main gate of Government Housing Scheme and deprived of cash and other valuables while Abdur Razzaq was deprived of his cash and mobile phone worth Rs88,000 near City Renala Khurd.
