The inauguration ceremony of the festival that was opened by deputy commissioner featured dances of camels, horses and goats.

On the occasion of inaugration, traditional jhumar dance was also performed and a horse race was organised too.

At the venue of the week-long festival, makeshift shops of sweets and toys were also established by the local traders for the visitors.

On the first day, a large number of people from different walks of life visited the festival.
