SWABI: The police recovered the bodies of a man and his eight-year-old daughter from a car here on Saturday.

The bodies were found in Bagh Haram area. Yar Hussain police took the bodies to the civil hospital for postpartum.

SHO Shahzad Khan said the cause of the double murder was not immediately known.

Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified killers and started further investigations.

Meanwhile, a man killed his son, a student of computer science department of the University of Swabi, after arguments over some domestic issue in Swabi city on Saturday. The incident occurred in Nazarkhel locality.

Mother of the deceased stated in the FIR registered with the Swabi city police that her husband shot dead his son after exchanging hot words with him.

Meanwhile, a man died and three others sustained injuries in a road accident near Swabi interchange on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway on Saturday. The deceased was named Farman Khan of Maneri Payyan village.

The accident occurred when driver of the passenger van failed to control the vehicle and it overturned after one of its tyres burst. A Rescue 1122 team shifted the injured to Bacha Khan Hospital complex, Shahmansoor.
