Zaireen in quarantine at Pakistan House in Taftan staged a protest and demanded that they be released from the quarantine facility and sent home.

Earlier, Radio Pakistan reported that over 1,300 Pakistani citizens, including 1,034 pilgrims arrived in Pakistan, while eight Iranians left for their country following the immigration process at the Pak-Iran border in Taftan.

On Friday, Pakistani authorities decided to open the Taftan border entry point temporarily to facilitate return of around 340 Pakistanis, including 184 pilgrims, stranded in the Iranian border town of Mirjaveh, for unilateral immigration by the Federal Investigation Agency.
