KARACHI: The renowned leg-spin bowler from South Africa, Imran Tahir has opened up about his unique celebration of running passionately to a fair distance after dismissing a batsman. The Lahore-born right-armer said it’s uncontrollable.

Talking to this correspondent, the leggie said he has reached this place after tireless struggle hence celebrate every success passionately.

“I have been through tough times along with a lot of sacrifices to reach where I am today. I always wanted to perform at big stage and now I am living my dream, Allhamdolliah”, Imran Tahir told this correspondent.

“I celebrate each wicket as my first and the last. This is my style and it just happens every time I dismiss a batsman,” added Imran who is representing Multan Sultans.

He also praised the Pakistan Super League for its standard. “Boundaries aren’t that big in PSL therefore it’s not easy for bowlers but having said that this is the test for bowlers as well to come up with a counter strategy,” observed Imran.

The leg-spinner also welcomed the happening of the entire league in Pakistan, adding that it would promote the game as well as generate business opportunities for various quarters as well.

He said the foreign players will take a positive message back home which will pave the way for regular international fixates in Pakistan.
