Bahawalpur fight back

KARACHI, Jan 16: Bahawalpur made a spirited start by reaching 198 for three after Gujranwala set them 421 for victory on the third day of the Quaid Trophy tie at Bahawalpur Stadium Tuesday.

According to details available here, Usman Tariq (75) and skipper Bilal Khilji (46) were at the crease at stumps.

Earlier, Gujranwala declared their second innings at 372 for nine after resuming at 254 for three. Mohammad Zahid, the left-arm spinner, claimed six for 106.
