Tehmina Asif, the newly-elected vice president of Sindh Olympic Association, was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed the prizes.

In her speech, Tehmina highlighted the performance of Pakistani sportswomen over the years and lauded the fact that they have excelled despite lack of top level infrastructure in the country. “I have no doubt that that if these women get top level sports facilities and grooming, they can be world beaters,” said Tehmina.
