SWABI: A house was gutted in Yar Hussain village on Sunday. However, no casualty was reported.

Police said the fire broke out due to electric short-circuiting, but sensing the danger the entire family managed to come out before the blaze engulfed the house.

Bilal Khan said that all household items in his house were turned into ashes, forcing the family to live with relatives.

Meanwhile, a rickshaw and a bus with students of a religious seminary on board collided in Manki village, killing the driver of the three-wheeler and injuring about a dozen students on Sunday, police said. The rickshaw was on way to Tordher village and the bus was coming from the opposition direction. The bus overturned after the collision.

The deceased was named Zareen Khan of Beka village. The inured students were taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex in Shahmansoor.
