NAWAZ Sharif, despite being convicted by the court for money laundering, was allowed to leave the country for medical treatment in London.

However, once he reached London, he was never admitted to any hospital and he has stayed there now for over 100 days. His recent health report was also satisfactory.

Recently, the government wrote a letter to the UK for sending Nawaz back to Pakistan. The document states that Nawaz is an absconder and he should be sent back to Pakistan to serve his jail term.

The federal government has credible information that Nawaz Sharif has been living abroad despite being fit to travel.

The government should ensure Nawaz Sharif returns, for no one is above the law.
