SWABI: A barber allegedly molested a girl in Sherindal Kothy village here on Thursday.

Registering an FIR in Kalu Khan police station, Mohammad Zahid of Sherindal Kothy said that a local barber molested his niece on Thursday.

Zahid alleged that he called a barber, Sardar Ali, to their hujra who molested her niece while cutting her hair. He said that at that time he was briefly outside for some work. He said that later his niece narrated him the entire story.

Soon after registration of FIR, the police raided house of the suspect and arrested him. When contacted, SHO Fayaz Khan told this scribe that during preliminary investigations the suspect, Sardar Ali, had confessed to his crime.
