LARKANA: Hailstones on Tuesday pounded Naudero town, Sukkur and their surroundings, causing damage to the mature standing crop of wheat.

In Larkana, a thunderstorm followed by hailstones turned the weather pleasant.

The hailstorm was also reported from the village of Fatehpur on the Larkana-Ratodero road.

In Sukkur and its surrounding areas, the rain accompanied with hailstones fell. The sky was covered with clouds and the sun played hide and seek in the evening. The weather turned pleasant and cool breeze started blowing.

A light rain lashed Mirpurkhas city and its outskirts at night, bringing down the temperature.

People came out of their houses and enjoyed the rain that continued for half an hour.

Light rainfall also occurred in other towns of the district, including Mirwah Gorchani, Digri, Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Khaan, Sindhri, Jhilori etc.
