ISLAMABAD: A doctor of Polyclinic Hospital tested positive for Covid-19, according to a late-night report issued by Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat.

The doctor was performing duties at the hospital’s medicine ward.

As the infected doctor lived in the hostel, all other doctors residing there were being sent to a quarantine centre set up in the OGDCL Medical Centre, Islamabad.

According to reports, Polyclinic Hospital, the second largest public sector hospital in the federal capital, is being sealed off.
