MURREE: Utility Stores Corporation (USC) will double the supply of essential food items to Murree.

The corporation’s managing director, Umar Lodhi, made the assurance to MNA Sadaqat Ali Abbasi on Saturday.

With the return of a large number of people from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities to their native areas in Murree due to Covid-19, demand for food items had enhanced.

As a result the utility stores outlets in Murree, Kotli Sattian and Kahuta towns are running short of edibles.

MNA Abbasi contacted Utility Stores Corporation Managing Director Umar Lodhi and urged him to improve supply to rural areas, says a press release.

MNA Sadaqat Abbasi is the focal person for supply of essential commodities, specially flour, in these areas.
