Pakistan Railways (PR) has converted more than 30 AC business and AC sleeper coaches into quarantine facilities, APP reports.

According to a press release issued on Monday, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and Railway Board Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani inspected the mobile quarantine coaches at Rawalpindi railway station.

In Lahore, four coaches had been converted into quarantine, six in Rawalpindi, five Karachi, three in Sukkur and two each in Peshawar, Multan and Quetta.

According to the press release, all possible facilities, including oxygen cylinders have been arranged in the isolation cabins, which can accommodate over 300 suspected patients in all.
